“A
Partnership for Our Children”
Our
Children are the “Future”… and “The Future is
NOW!”
The
Case…
It
is the conviction of the Health Services Foundation
that excellence in children’s healthcare will help
to insure wellness in the adults of tomorrow.
The Need…
Expanded Pediatric Facility at Houlton Regional
Hospital.
The current pediatrics service has very limited
space, and operates out of two different locations
down the hall from each other, creating a genuine
need for expanded services. This expansion would
have enough exam rooms, better waiting area,
five-day a week service, and overall better
efficiency for physicians/patients alike. Meeting
“The Need” will preserve our
two-pediatrician service.
The Goal…
Raise
$100,000 for Houlton Pediatrics and open the
facility October 2004.
The Challenge…
Raise $100,000 in twelve months. The Health Services
Foundation, Partnering with Houlton
Regional Hospital, will maximize every fundraising
effort in pursuit of the goal.
The Love…
Our children need all the Love and
Care we can give them; they are our
present to the world of today and the communities of
tomorrow. Whether you have children, grandchildren
or care very much about someone else’s children, we
must provide them with the best healthcare options
available. Competent physicians with proper
facilities will insure the best start and continued
preventative care.
The Success Story…
Project completed and opened on schedule with
contributions totaling $150,000 from Health Services
Foundation.
Today’s Healthy Children are the Healthy Adults of the Communities
of Tomorrow!
“Children are the living messages we send to a time
we will not see.”
