Hospital.)
Travis James Humphrey was
born and raised in Houlton to a
family that truly valued (and still
does) music and art. A picture that is
featured in the family home shows
Travis' father, Tim, playing the
mandolin as Travis (4 months old at the
time) reaches for the strings and smiles
widely. Dorene, his mother often says
that this is when music took hold of
Travis.
By age 11, Travis was touring with the
American Boychoir School. In three years
he saw most of the United States and
some of Europe, sharing the stage with
Ladysmith Black Mambaazo, John Williams,
Pete Seeger, and other world-renowned
musicians. Travis describes this time as
a life-changing experience for which he
is truly grateful.
Upon returning to his home town of
Houlton, Travis started playing in local
bands. One of those bands was led by his
father Tim, and those gigs provided a
rich foundation that Travis continues to
draw from today.
At age 17, Travis travelled to eastern
Europe, providing concerts and clinics
as part of the Maine Youth Jazz
Ensemble.
After high school, Travis served in the
United States Air Force as a Bandsman;
first with the USAF Band of Liberty, and
then as the lead singer for the USAF
country band, Silver Wings. With Silver
Wings, Travis was able to perform at the
Mo Bandy Theater, Nashville’s Riverfest,
the Sylvan Theatre, NBC’s Today show,
and other large-scale venues. Travis is
proud of his 8 years in the U.S. Air
Force and the fine people with whom he
served.
From Northern Maine to Boston, MA; from
Washington, D.C to Nashville, TN; from
Branson, MS to Tuscon, AZ; from Paris,
France to Krakow, Poland. Someone
recently described Travis' live show as,
"Jimmy Buffett meets Jerry Jeff Walker
in a smoky, beer-stained jam session";
he likes that description a lot.
Travis' debut solo CD, "Yellow Cat
Blues" was released in August 2002. His
second CD, “Cowgirl Romance” was
released in July of 2006.
Travis, and his beautiful wife Shonna,
at long last moved back home to Maine.
With regard to the move, Travis likes to
quote the late/great John Denver, "Hey,
it's good to be back home again."
These days you can find Travis working
to make a reputation for himself as a
top-quality, Maine-based musician and
entertainer, singing and playing his
heart out for anyone who will listen.

Randolph Michaud (Randy) started his
career after linking up with a few singing friends while in
the United States Army. Having played with bands in Germany,
and around Western Europe Randy had a good feeling singing
in front of people and never turned back. Returning home
from military service, Randy put together a local group
called Northstar Country Band, performing in local clubs and
honkytonks around Northern Maine. However, after a few
years, members of the band went their separate ways and
Randy took time off from performing in public.
Lisa Michaud Randy’s wife wanted him
to record an album, so with that, Randy started putting
songs together in tribute to some of his favorite singers as
George Jones, Tammy Wynette, Jim Reeves, and Merle Haggard
to name a few. April 2005 saw the debut of Randy’s first
album titled (Country Memories). After contacting many
promoters, Rhonnie Scheurman of Rhonbob Promotions decided
to promote Randy’s music. Since then, Randy has been
climbing the country charts all over the world, and on
February 2nd, 2006 hit Number 1 on the internet country
charts hosted by Soundclick.com. Randy has also done
well on other internet country charts, and first hit the
country charts with “ He Stopped Loving Her Today” a song
made famous by George Jones. Randy’s second album was
recorded in August 2006. His rendition of Talk Back
Trembling Lips is one of the most played songs heard around
the world, and his music continues to get great promotions
from music DJ’s around the world as well as in the United
States.
Randy’s albums stay true to his roots
by singing classic country ballads, and some upbeat songs.
Randy’s first Country Music Video was released the end of
March 2006. This video was the only one done to the song “
He Stopped Loving Her Today”.
